We are supporting a primary school in Coventry in their search for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 1 child. This full-time position offers the potential to extend for the remainder of the academic year. About the Role: As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a Year 1 child, tailoring your support to meet their unique learning needs. The role focuses on fostering the child’s academic progress, confidence, and personal development within the Early Years and Key Stage 1 framework. Essential Qualifications and Experience: * Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. * Proven experience working in Early Years or Key Stage 1 settings. Desirable Skills: * Experience providing 1:1 support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly autism. * The ability to adapt and implement strategies that address specific learning, social, and emotional needs.
