  • Oversee, analyse and process expense claims from our employee, updating our dedicated software. You will diligently cross check information and evidence and approve/reject claims

  • To create new quotes on our finance system for commissioners and clients

  • Help to track, match and record transactions on our accounting software

  • To liaise with commissioners around invoices, as necessary, and to chase up payment that is open or overdue. To clarify the content of invoices

  • To follow all LSH Policies and Procedures

  • To attend allocation meetings weekly to establish new client information and any new quotes required;

  • Support the HR and Finance Manager in performing tasks commensurate for your role and responsibility

  • Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Work closely with HR and Finance Manager, Head of School, Senior Leadership Team and our external commissioners and accountancy firm

  • Suggest ideas for streamlining operations to HR and Finance Manager

  • Senior Managers will send drafted policies for you to format onto our letterhead and upload onto our systems

  • To follow safeguarding children and young people as a priority and ensure the welfare of our students and their families are paramount. Pass on any safeguarding concerns or alerts to our Safeguarding Lead without delay

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Finance and HR Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to supporting daily operations. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of our business environment, providing clerical and administrative support under the guidance of our HR and Finance Manager. This is a key role within our Company, you must be organised, experienced, focused and work well within a team. You will be comfortable with hybrid working and lone working.

Finance administration knowledge and experience is essential

HR administration knowledge and experience desirable but not essential, * Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred

  • Experience in a previous role including finance administrative tasks is essential

  • Proficiency in using computerised systems, particular experience on accounting software EG: such as Freeagent or Xero is advantageous, as is if you have experience of utilising HR based software

  • Demonstratable skills of working in a fast paced environment

  • Demonstrable skills of working in an effective and detail orientated way, following due diligence processes

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for this position.

  • Familiarity with data entry processes and maintaining accurate records

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills will be highly regarded

  • Ability to work in a team effectively

  • Experience of working with commissioners is advantageous
