The Role
As a Media Account Executive, you’ll act as a key link between Formula Media and our clients, supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of advertising campaigns across social, digital, connected TV, and audio platforms. You’ll work closely with internal teams and media partners to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and aligned to client goals. This is a client-facing role that combines project coordination, media planning, and account management, offering excellent exposure to the full campaign lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients to understand campaign objectives and requirements
- Coordinate with strategy, creative and media teams to develop campaign plans
- Brief internal and external teams on media, creative, and content deliverables
- Support in campaign planning, setup, scheduling, trafficking and performance tracking
- Monitor and manage campaign budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Prepare and present campaign performance reports and insights
- Communicate campaign updates, progress, and issues clearly to clients
- Contribute to pitches and proposals for new business opportunities
- Assist in invoice preparation and scope of work documentation
- Support day-to-day admin and team coordination tasks
Essential Skills & Qualities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confident using Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools
- Numerate, detail-oriented and comfortable analysing data
- Attention to detail with planning media handling large budgets
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, self-motivated and solution-oriented
- Comfortable in a client-facing environment and confident in meetings
- Passion for advertising, digital media and marketing
Desirable Experience
- Understanding of media platforms including social, digital audio, OTT/VOD, or programmatic
- Familiarity with media planning tools or analytics dashboards
- Exposure to content creation, copywriting, or campaign reporting
- Experience working in an agency or client service environment acceptable
- Awareness of media buying and campaign delivery processes
