Marketing Account ManagerLocation: HybridSalary: £40-45k DOEContract: Full-timeAbout the RoleJoin a dynamic and purpose-driven team dedicated to supporting small business growth across the UK. As a Marketing Account Manager on the Help to Grow: Management Programme, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving engagement and enrolments across approximately 25 business schools in your region.Working within the wider Demand Generation team and alongside two experienced Marketing Account Managers, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that each of your assigned business schools is equipped with the tools, insight, and support they need to promote the programme effectively and consistently.You’ll collaborate with marketing, finance, scheduling, and alumni teams, as well as external stakeholders such as Chambers of Commerce and banks, to build impactful partnerships and ensure marketing activity is on-brand and data-driven. This is a hands-on, relationship-focused role requiring excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness School Account ManagementAct as the main point of contact for approx. 25 business schools in your region.Conduct monthly meetings with each school to track marketing activity and enrolment targets.Ensure marketing content is high quality, on-message, and aligned with national campaigns.Encourage the contribution of academic experts to national content marketing.Provide responsive support and communicate programme updates clearly and efficiently.Ensure consistent communication between business schools and internal teams (e.g. scheduling, finance).Onboarding New Business SchoolsLead onboarding sessions post-contract to familiarise teams with branding and communications.Share best practice and insights from other institutions.Support understanding and use of marketing funds and the associated claims process.Stakeholder EngagementWork with senior colleagues to facilitate introductions and engagement between business schools and local/regional stakeholders.Promote programme visibility through events, PR, and digital campaigns in collaboration with stakeholders.Attend regional events to support relationship-building and local marketing efforts.Reporting & Data ManagementContribute to reports on marketing performance and campaign ROI.Maintain accuracy and integrity of data throughout marketing and registration processes.What We’re Looking ForProven experience in marketing account management or a similar client-facing role.Excellent relationship management and communication skills.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver in a fast-paced environment.A collaborative approach to working with internal and external teams.Willingness and ability to travel regionally for meetings and events.Experience working in education, business support services, or with SMEs is desirable but not essential.Why Join Us?You’ll be part of a mission-led organisation making a tangible impact on the UK’s small business landscape.
