Location: Bolton

Job Type: Full-Time/Contract – 100% onsite.

Salary: PAYE £20.37 or Umbrella £27.37 per hour

Clearance: SC but can start on BPSS

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Test Engineer who will be responsible for carrying out test tasks within the operational business, in accordance with product certification procedures, defined workmanship standards, allocated budgets and timescales to meet project objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Certify and maintain product certification through regular audits and compliance with procedures.
• Perform testing on electronic equipment, including setup, recalibration, and fault-finding, following test instructions.
• Ensure manufacturing test times and quality standards are met, maintaining detailed records and completing required paperwork.
• Adhere to safety, housekeeping, and manufacturing process procedures.
• Share best practices and support team collaboration.

Skillset/Experience Required:

• Team player with strong customer focus, planning, and organizational skills.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Holds a formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21/ONC) and further education certification (HNC or equivalent).
• Must not have color blindness.
• Electrical Apprenticeship or relevant qualifications
• Qualifications must be in Electrical Manufacturing/Engineering Subjects
