We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Salesforce Engineer.
This position will serve as a Senior Engineer for our Salesforce environment, which is central to our end-to-end business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing the Salesforce platform, while also supporting training across the organization. The candidate will report to the CTO but will work closely with the Financial Director, as finance is the key end-user of the Salesforce data.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Development & Maintenance
- Write and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable Salesforce code and configurations.
- Design, implement, and refine business processes and workflows within Salesforce.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Platform Configuration & Access Management
- Configure and customize Salesforce to meet evolving business needs.
- Manage access controls, user permissions, and profiles in line with security and compliance requirements.
- Ensure data integrity through effective validation rules, backup processes, and maintenance.
User Training & Support
- Provide training and support to end-users across the organization, ensuring effective platform utilization.
- Develop user documentation, guidelines, and best practices to maximize efficiency.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with various teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to gather requirements and deliver tailored Salesforce solutions.
- Act as the primary liaison with third-party vendors and consultants supporting Salesforce integrations and extensions.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the Salesforce platform and its integration with other business systems.
- Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to recommend and implement new functionality.
Essential Requirements:
Technical Expertise
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer/Administrator in a senior capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce tools and functionalities, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Flow Builder.
- Experience with integrations using APIs and middleware.
- Familiarity with Salesforce security best practices, including access control and data management.
- Experience with Accounting Seed or similar Salesforce financial packages is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer.
- Experience in training and onboarding users onto Salesforce platforms.
- Previous experience in a mid-sized or growing business is a plus.
