Salary: Grade 8 £47,921 – £51,491 per annum (starting salary commences at £47,921)

The College is currently looking to recruit a HR Manager to join the People & Culture team.

Working in a highly unionised environment the successful candidate will manage multiple projects encompassing all aspects of HR delivery within a rapidly changing environment.

As well as managing an employee relations case load, the role is key in developing and reporting on a range of key performance indicators as well as ensuring the College is compliant with current employment legislation. Developing and implementing relevant policies and procedures.

The ability to manage conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines is essential as is the ability to develop positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The role will also develop and implement relevant people policies and procedures.

To apply for this post, you must possess a relevant degree (or equivalent) and/or appropriate professional qualification, along with membership of CIPD. You will have significant relevant operational experience of a senior role within an HR function in a diverse unionised environment.

You must be able to demonstrate the ability to build good effective working relationships and have excellent organisational and time management skills. You will be responsible for managing a team, therefore you must be able to delegate effectively and manage the performance of others.
