We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Debt Advisory Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of debt advisory mandates across a range of industries. You will be responsible for financial modelling, credit analysis, and preparing marketing materials such as pitches and Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs).

This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in corporate finance and debt markets.

Key Responsibilities Financial Modelling & Analysis

  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support debt structuring and advisory assignments.
  • Analyse company financials, including historical performance and forecasting, to assess debt capacity and financing options.
  • Conduct credit analysis, including covenant calculations, debt service metrics, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Work closely with senior team members to interpret financial data and provide insights for client recommendations.

Pitch & CIM Preparation

  • Assist in preparing pitch presentations for clients, lenders, and investors.
  • Develop comprehensive CIMs to support debt financing and restructuring processes.
  • Research and compile relevant market intelligence, debt pricing, and lender appetite to support presentations.
  • Ensure all client materials are accurate, professional, and tailored to each mandate.

Transaction Execution

  • Support the deal team in managing lender engagement, Q&A processes, and information flow.
  • Assist in structuring financing solutions, organising term sheets, and negotiating key debt terms.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes and liaise with lenders, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 1-6 years of experience in debt advisory, leveraged finance, corporate finance, banking, or financial services .
  • Strong financial modelling skills, with experience in building cash flow models and debt-related analysis .
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Familiarity with debt structures, covenants, and credit metrics .
  • Experience preparing marketing materials such as pitch decks and CIMs .
  • Understanding of corporate finance principles, capital structures, and debt instruments.
