Job Description:
I am currently looking to recruit an experienced and dedicated Medical Negligence Lawyer to join my clients team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling complex medical negligence cases and providing expert legal advice to clients.
Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of medical malpractice cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conducting thorough investigations, research, and analysis of medical records and expert opinions.
  • Advising clients on the legal aspects of medical negligence claims and potential outcomes.
  • Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court proceedings, including trials and mediations.
  • Keeping abreast of developments in medical malpractice law and contributing to the growth of the practice area.
  • Take responsibility for and develop a caseload of High Value, Multitrack cases which have involved life changing injuries.

Requirements:

  • Qualified in England and Wales
  • 10+ years of post-qualification experience specializing in medical negligence law.
  • Proven track record of successfully litigating medical malpractice cases.
  • A background of building relationships with charities
  • Law Society medical negligence panel (Essential)
  • AvMA Membership
  • Strong understanding of medical procedures, terminology, and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Experience working with medical experts and witnesses.
