Are you a highly experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in major infrastructure, particularly wastewater treatment plants, seeking a permanent position? NES Fircroft has been exclusively retained by a market leader to source a key technical expert to guide their design and delivery teams from the design phase through to construction.As the Design Engineering Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring technical excellence, providing guidance on project deliverables, and leading and mentoring the design team. You\’ll work closely with the Project Director to manage risks and ensure all design and construction monitoring processes are robustly in place.In this Engineering Manager role, your key responsibilities will involve:Providing expert technical guidance and project deliverables to design and delivery teams, spanning design management and construction support.Leading and mentoring the design team, ensuring alignment with objectives and values, and supervising the development of engineering resources.Assisting with the ongoing identification and management of project risks and analysis.Managing design consultants to ensure detailed designs comply with programs and contracts, and owning the end-to-end design process.Collaborating with consultants and clients to achieve timely design approvals, and developing designs with constructability and operational efficiency in mind.To be successful in this Design Manager position, you will need a strong background in design management within complex infrastructure projects.
