Weev are seeking to appoint a Programme Manager for a thriving industry, who shall take the lead in the delivery of multiple projects and high value programmes, demonstrating highly effective communication and project leadership skills, to deliver EV charging sites from site acquisition to construction start stages.

Key Responsibilities Project Planning: Developing comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Resource Management: Allocating and managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure effective utilisation and project efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to establish strong working relationships, manage expectations, and ensure project requirements are understood and met.
Risk Management: Identifying and assessing potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project progress is not hindered by unforeseen challenges.
Communication and Reporting: Facilitating effective communication among project team members and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and progress reports.
Change Management: Managing changes in project scope, objectives, or timelines, and evaluating their potential impact on the project’s success.
Project Evaluation and Lessons Learned: Conducting post-project evaluations to assess project performance, identify areas for improvement, and capture lessons learned for future projects.
Process Innovation and Improvement: Identifying process efficiency improvements and implementing tools to enhance the communication and accuracy of project information and status across the organisation.
Essential Qualifications / Experience Substantial experience in a client facing project/programme management role in product development, manufacturing, infrastructure or construction industries.
Proven ability to build and maintain long term stakeholder support, across all levels.
Proven track record of delivering projects to time, cost, and quality.
Well developed planning and organisational skills including scope and schedule management.
Risk and Issue management experience.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; interacts comfortably with other people.
High competency in writing and presenting reports.
Effective negotiation skills.
Process efficiency improvement and change implementation experience.
High level of IT literacy, proficient user of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Project or similar.
Project management experience in the EV/ Infrastructure market.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment to achieve results.
Flexible to adapt to company needs when required.
Desirable Criteria Engineering/ Business related degree/ equivalent NVQ.
Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
Project management experience in the EV/ Infrastructure market.
Knowledge of electric vehicle infrastructure and charging technologies.
