We are on an exciting journey here at Clays and are looking for energised, reliable and enthusiastic people to join our operational teams within the Colour, Web and Bindery departments.
Clays has been operating for over 200 years, producing some of the most well-known and best-selling books in the UK, providing an invaluable service to a range of publishing clients and in turn, bringing you and your family the books you love to read. With over 800 employees based on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, we supply over 165 million books per year. Through our union with Elcograf since May 2018, we continue to have a strong and exciting future ahead of us and are looking for people to join us on that journey.
These opportunities will allow you to work with dedicated and passionate teams within all areas of our factory. You will have a strong work ethic and take pride in what you do. Working actively as a team member, you will have a keen eye for detail, be motivated with a positive attitude, and work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, especially during our peak periods. As such, you will need to be willing to be flexible during our busy periods. Being diligent, careful and hardworking, with the willingness to learn new skills is key. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be useful, although not essential, as full on-the-job training will be provided.
