The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.
Assist the Radiographers and Radiologists as required throughout the examination.
Collect patients from reception / waiting areas and ensure that they are given any assistance required before, during and after examination.
Depending on the specific procedure, patients may require to be chaperoned.
Perform IV Cannulations in line with Trust Policy for Band 3 Staff and service needs.
Assist in ensuring accurate record keeping under Ionising Ensure that stock levels are monitored and maintained in the examination rooms.
Ensure that the examination rooms are maintained in a clean and tidy state.
Ensure that the working environment is safe, and ensure that all defects, faults and incidents are reported to the relevant Line Manager.
