We require Hides Operatives to assist with production.You will be responsible for ensuring hides and skins are trimmed, sorted, graded and preserved for further processing.

The Role The role includes various semi-skilled and non-skilled jobs associated with the preservation of cattle hides and sheep skins.
Chilling and salting hides and skins, Trimming, weighing, and grading.
Occasional loading of lorries/dolavs/boxes ready for despatch.
Ensure the factory is kept clean and tidy at all times with the operation of a clean-as-you- go policy during production Essential Criteria Possess excellent communication skills; Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative whilst working as part of a team striving to achieve high levels of customer service; Flexible approach to work and be prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.
Desirable Criteria Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
