About the Role As a Lathe Machine Operator, youll play a vital role in crafting precision parts and components to exact specifications.
Working within a professional environment, youll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise while operating state-of-the-art machinery on the nightshift.
Key Responsibilities: Machine Operation Set up and operate lathe machines for cutting, drilling, turning, and threading.
Adjust machine controls to meet production standards.
Quality Control Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy.
Use precision tools like micrometres and callipers to inspect finished products.
Maintenance Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating machines.
Identify and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Safety Compliance Follow workplace safety standards and use appropriate PPE.
Documentation Keep accurate records of production activities and communicate progress effectively.
What Were Looking For Proven experience as a DMG Lathe Machine Operator or in a similar role.
Proficiency in operating lathe machines and using precision instruments.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Commitment to workplace safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications: Certification in machining or a related field.
Familiarity with CNC lathe operations (if applicable).
Experience working with a variety of materials.
