Job Description
Automotive Vehicle Technician\\n\\n * 42.5 hours a week\\n\\n * Monday – Friday + 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings\\n\\n * 8am to 5pm with 1 hour break – Alternating Saturdays 8am-12pm rota paid at OT rate 1 ½\\n\\n * Basic Salary £36,000 + Bonuses = £42,000 OTE\\n\\n * Bonus Scheme – £600 per quarter roughly £2400 per year\\n\\n * Training Bonus available\\n\\nDuties of a Vehicle Technician:\\n\\n * Servicing\\n\\n * Diagnostic work\\n\\n * General maintenance and repairs\\n\\n * Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs)\\n\\n * Suspension work\\n\\n * Road testing vehicles after repair\\n\\n * Repairing and replacing wheel bearings, alternators, and head gaskets\\n\\n * MOT Prep & Post MOT repairs\\n\\n * Change tyres, complete puncture repairs, wheel alignment and balancing\\n\\n * Repairing and replacing exhausts, steering racks, and water pumps\\n\\n * Repairing and replacing radiators, clutches and gearboxes\\n\\n * Timing Belts & Cambelt replacements\\n\\n * Oil changes and part changes e.g. Filters\\n\\nVehicle Technician Requirements:\\n\\n * MUST have an NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3 or Level 2 accepted with a minimum of 5 years services\\n\\n * MUST hold a full valid driver license – No major driving convictions DD, DR, IN\\n\\n * Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.\\n\\n * Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment
