Client Manager

A leading UK Challenger Bank is seeking a proactive and commercially astute Client Manager to join a well-established Invoice Finance team in Manchester. You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 40-45 clients across factoring and invoice discounting facilities, with funds in use of up to £3m.This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in invoice finance, in either a Client Manager role already or is ready for the next step up and is currently a Client Executive or Relationship Executive role.🎯 Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of invoice finance clients (c. 40-45) with facilities up to £3mMaintain oversight of client security positions and facility structuresDeliver exceptional service to maximise client retention and satisfactionDrive income growth through fee optimisation and cross-selling opportunitiesConduct annual and ad hoc client reviews, including facility amendmentsIdentify and refer new business opportunities from within the portfolioEnsure full compliance with governance, regulatory, and reporting standards🙌 What We’re Looking ForProven experience managing invoice finance clients, or strong exposure in a junior client-facing roleSolid understanding of credit, risk, and financial analysisStrong relationship building skills across client and internal stakeholder groupsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesHighly organised with the ability to manage competing prioritiesAnalytical mindset with a good head for numbersFull UK driving licence
