What You’ll Be Doing:
- Champion Quality: Serve as a key advocate for quality across cross-functional Agile teams, collaborating closely with Product Owners, Developers, and UX Designers to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Agile Ceremonies: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, offering valuable insights and feedback to improve processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Test Strategy Development: Design and implement robust test strategies, including functional validation, API/interface testing, cross-platform compatibility, negative test cases, and exploratory testing.
- Regression & Release Testing: Develop and maintain comprehensive regression test suites, ensuring product stability with each release cycle.
- Risk-Based Testing: Perform risk-based testing to maximise test coverage while enhancing efficiency.
- Automation Expertise: Create and maintain scalable test automation scripts, integrating continuous testing seamlessly within CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable delivery.
- Test Suite Execution & Monitoring: Regularly execute automated test suites, ensuring reliable execution, accurate result validation, and quick resolution or escalation of issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine automation test coverage and optimise test effectiveness to enhance software quality.
- Requirements Analysis: Participate in requirements analysis, assessing testability, usability, and risk factors to strengthen the development process.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, with a solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Test Strategy Expertise: Proven experience in developing and executing diverse test strategies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Automation Skills: Advanced knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, and Cypress, with strong coding capabilities in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- API Testing: Proficient in API testing with tools like Postman and SoapUI, including expertise in RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Performance Testing: Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner, with a keen eye for detecting system bottlenecks.
- SQL Expertise: Strong SQL skills for database testing, including the ability to write complex queries and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Agile & DevOps: In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices, including experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
- Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership and communication abilities, with experience mentoring junior QA engineers and driving collaboration across cross-functional teams.
