Job Title: Junior Bid Manager

Location: Remote (with occasional travel)

Purpose of the Role

As a Junior Bid Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the bid process from initial planning through to completion, submission, and handover to operations. You will support the sales team by assembling the right bid team, ensuring all client and service requirements are met to secure new business opportunities.

This role involves working with multiple internal stakeholders under tight deadlines and requires strong project management skills. You will also be responsible for compiling standard company information, preparing responses for RFI/RFP submissions, and collaborating with design teams to create standout bid documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the end-to-end bid process, from pursuit planning to final submission.
  • Work closely with the sales team to define win themes, value propositions, and strategic messaging.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance and approval processes.
  • Develop compelling and high-quality bid responses, working collaboratively with subject matter experts.
  • Oversee the maintenance of a bid response library to ensure consistency and efficiency in submissions.
  • Liaise with the design team to ensure bids are visually compelling and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Manage bid memberships and framework registrations.
  • Support bid-related projects, such as video creation and presentation development.
  • Maintain client portal administration and submission tracking.

Role Requirements

Must-Have:

  • At least 3 years of bid management experience.
  • APMP Foundation-level certification (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent written English skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and engaging content.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong project management experience and attention to detail.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, MS Teams, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience in at least one area of facilities management

Good to Have:

  • Experience working with clients in sectors such as Media, Tech, Finance, Professional Services, Engineering, or FMCG.
  • Familiarity with bid technology tools, including AI-based solutions.
  • Relevant industry qualifications or professional memberships.
