We are currently collaborating with a healthcare provider called, Ilarna ( to find their next Commercial Manager.

The Commercial Manager is responsible for B2C and B2B commercial activity in the North of England developing relationships with hospital stakeholders, private organisations, third sector organisations, patients and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for commercial activity in assigned region.
  • Individual care seeker engagement at Hospital sites.
  • Developing trusted relationships quickly with patients and their families to ensure that they understand the benefits of ilarna and our service, and are enthused by the prospect of being discharged to an ilarna care package.
  • Demonstrating commercial acumen by securing long-term care bookings when patients are being discharged, maximising revenue potential.
  • Relationship development with key discharge team stakeholders within Hospitals.
  • Becoming a trusted advisor to clinical teams when they are making patient discharge decisions by being visible and providing guidance as to likely discharge timescales.
  • Business Development activity in respect of all areas within the region, including, GP practices, care home D2A pathways, community services, third sector organisations and supported living accommodation.
  • Oversight of carer acquisition in the region, in conjunction with Customer Experience Team.
  • Developing relationships with local approved ilarna Personal Assistants, ensuring we are able to increase the speed of matching PAs to patients as the service develops.
  • Engagement with clinical teams for training on care, hospital processes, etc.
  • Working with Executive Leadership to effectively manage contracts including supporting with the production of Governance Packs (KPI reports, care outcome reports, etc.).
  • Utilise training materials, manuals and refence guides where appropriate
  • Execute customer surveys ensuring that we are regularly seeking feedback from care seekers and their families, providing us with opportiunities for improvement.
  • Implement Continuous Improvement actions where appropriate following Customer and internal team feedback.
