As part of our continued growth, ABL 1 Touch is looking to recruit a Workshop Controller to join our brand-new team based in Middlesbrough .
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and provide direction to our Repair Technicians.
- Ensure accurate recording and interpretation of production metrics for planning and improvement.
- Manage the work area, maintaining cleanliness and efficiency for optimal operations.
- Uphold regulatory compliance and ensure sensitive information is communicated appropriately.
- Oversee the efficient running of the workshop and maintain high levels of productivity.
- Ensure that workshop equipment and tools are well-maintained and in good working condition.
- Liaise with the Service team to keep customers informed and address any issues or complaints.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven leadership experience managing large teams.
- In-depth understanding of the vehicle repair industry, vehicle legislation, and trade practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs and a willingness to learn new software tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
