Senior Site Manager

My client are a leading energy solution provider that are looking to onboard a Civil Site Manager to an ongoing energy infrastructure package being delivered in London.Site manager responsibilities: Day to day management of site operatives, subcontractors and site work.Development and implementation of safety documentation including construction phase plans, site quality plans and risk assessments / method statements.Undertake inspections Carry out site inductions, Toolbox Talks & Daily Briefings.Prepare daily SSoW and put people to work.Produce & maintain Site Specific Risk & Method Statements.Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.Communicate effectively with the contractors. Attend weekly progress meetings.Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.Ensure quality control measures are implemented throughout the project.Maintain a high standard of documentation and records of project. activities/labour including a site dairy.Site manager requirements: Right to work in the UK.Must have SMSTS, First Aid at Work/ CSCS, Temporary Works Co-Ordinator & Supervisor.An extensive knowledge of construction methodologies within the renewables/energy industryCompetency to work in substations 66kV to 400kV inclusive.Knowledge of NEC contracts. Knowledge of current legislation relating to health, safety and environment.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Ability to work within a team environment including with clients, designers, H&S advisers, site staff, quantity surveyor and estimators.IT literate, specifically in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.Full driving license.Must be prepared to travel and work away at customer sites.Previously or current authorization to National Grid (NG Persons ticket) is a minimum.The next steps to apply for the role!
