We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our Southern Installation team working across London. With experience of working as either a contracts manager or projects manager on a complex and diverse range of projects you will ideally have experience from within the lift or construction industry. You will combine management experience with technical knowledge to be able to understand and solve the issues facing our engineers to meet customer and project requirements. Possessing a PRINCE II or equivalent project management qualification would be advantageous, you should be fully conversant with engineering drawings and able to plan, prioritise, organise and assign tasks, adapting your style to effectively train and pass on knowledge to others. You will be responsible for: * Managing multiple installation and modernisation projects of various sizes and revenue * Managing direct and subcontract labour, materials and the finances of the project from start to completion, * Ensuring final testing, commissioning and handover are completed in line with timescales set by the client. * Maintaining customer relationships ensuring that targets and timescales are achieved and that all parties involved in the project are full informed at key stages of the process * Supervising your direct reports and dealing with any issues that arise, whilst ensuring that accurate management reports are completed in a timely manner.
