This is a brilliant opportunity for a Cloud Architect to join a well-known aeronautical company to be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders across IT and 3rd party partners to drive cloud migration, optimise cloud environments and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards. You will report to the Head of Platform Architecture and work collaboratively with teams to deliver scalable, efficient Azure based solutions. You will be key in driving the Azure strategy, setting standards, and talking about roadmaps. Main responsibilitiesDevelop and implement cloud based solutions including storage, security configurations and network architectureLead the planning and execution of migration initiatives; transition on-prem to cloudEnsure all cloud solutions meet security standardsDesign and manage automated infrastructure provisioning and deployments Work closely with stakeholders and 3rd party partnersRequirementsExperience designing, deploying and managing large scale cloud environments across AzureSome AWS experienceUnderstanding of core cloud services including networking, databases, compute, storage, application hosting and serverless functions.Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation or ARM templatesDevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or cloud native DevOps tools Strong stakeholder management and engagementAbility to monitor and optimise cloud resource usage and costs using Cost Management dashboards or cloud native advisorsBenefitsSalary between £90,000 – £100,000 + up to 25% bonusHybrid – 3 days a week in the office25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)Travel AllowanceGenerous pension scheme – up to 12% pension contributionLife Assurance at 3x basic salaryIf you are interested in the role, please apply now for immediate review!
