What the Job Involves
As an As and When Residential Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality care to children in care, ensuring their safety and well-being while adhering to national care standards and policies. You will facilitate a positive environment, partake in planning and participating in leisure and educational activities, and sustain key relationships with children, young people, and their carers. You'll lead shifts and coordinate with staff, handle various responsibilities such as risk assessments, take initiative during challenging situations, and contribute to diverse meetings and report writing. Additionally, you will contribute to financial management regarding petty cash and young people's allowances.
