CAD Technician

JOB – CAD TechnicianLOCATION – LeedsTERM – PermanentSALARY – £28,000 to £35,000 per annum (plus benefits)My client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke furniture. They are looking to take on a CAD Technician to join their team in Leeds.The CAD Technician will ideally have the following attributes:• Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) in furniture or joinery design• Ability to produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D models• Knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes and materials• Strong attention to detail and design accuracy• Good communication skills for working with clients, production, and design teams• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team• Experience with bespoke projects is desirableThe CAD Technician role will involve:• Producing 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for bespoke furniture • Working closely with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability• Preparing technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs• Assisting with client revisions and project adjustments• Supporting production with accurate design documentation• Maintaining CAD files and design recordsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and salary expectations.
