Head of Living Capital Markets

This is a key strategic hire for our client. It represents a new critical service offering that will complement and enhance the firm’s existing capabilities. They will offer a competitive salary & incentive scheme for the right candidate, depending on experience and track record.

I am looking to speak with individuals at the AD level to Director / ‘Head of’ across the Living Capital Markets space.

The role

• Lead and develop the firm’s Living Capital Markets offering, working across Investment & Development Agency and Capital Advisory.
• Advise clients on and execute funding deals, JVs, and exit strategies.
• Work closely with private equity firms, funds, institutions, investors, developers, and operators to structure and secure optimal transactions on their behalf.
• Provide strategic advice and execution support across both the sell/investment match side (developers) and the buy/purchase side (funders/investors).
• Focus on key Living Real Estate sectors, including PBSA, BTR (single and multi-family), Co-Living, and potentially later living and hotel sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships within the real estate investment and development community.
• Lead negotiations and provide strategic advice to enhance deal execution and value creation.
• Establish and grow the Living Capital Markets service line, with a long-term opportunity to build and lead a team.

What you need

• A strong track record of success in living capital markets.
• A well-established market reputation with a proven ability to generate and execute deals.
• Deep knowledge of a variety of funding and equity structures, JVs, and exit strategies.
• Strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, developers, and financial institutions.
• Strong numerical skills, with the ability to analyse complex financial structures and investment models.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to build a new service line and drive business growth.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
