Position: Contract Manager

We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to oversee and develop balanced risk profiles within a large offshore wind project. This position will involve managing contract strategy and execution, mitigating commercial risks, and maintaining strong relationships with contractors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead contract management for offshore transport and installation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with project standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Identify and manage contractual risks, opportunities, and threats, and implement control measures.
  • Oversee procurement and legal activities related to project contracts.
  • Drive continuous improvement in commercial strategies and contractual terms.
  • Lead and mentor a team of contract managers.
  • Develop strategies for resolving disputes and claims efficiently.
  • Coordinate across departments and teams to ensure effective delivery of contracts.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Strong background in offshore transport and installation technologies.
  • Proven experience managing complex offshore projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Deep understanding of offshore industry standards, regulations, and safety/environmental legislation.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal, report writing, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in leading diverse, multi-cultural teams.
  • Degree in engineering or related field (Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, Naval Architecture) or equivalent.
