Position: Contract Manager
We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to oversee and develop balanced risk profiles within a large offshore wind project. This position will involve managing contract strategy and execution, mitigating commercial risks, and maintaining strong relationships with contractors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead contract management for offshore transport and installation projects.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, processes, and procedures.
- Identify and manage contractual risks, opportunities, and threats, and implement control measures.
- Oversee procurement and legal activities related to project contracts.
- Drive continuous improvement in commercial strategies and contractual terms.
- Lead and mentor a team of contract managers.
- Develop strategies for resolving disputes and claims efficiently.
- Coordinate across departments and teams to ensure effective delivery of contracts.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Strong background in offshore transport and installation technologies.
- Proven experience managing complex offshore projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Deep understanding of offshore industry standards, regulations, and safety/environmental legislation.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Experience in leading diverse, multi-cultural teams.
- Degree in engineering or related field (Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, Naval Architecture) or equivalent.
