The Opportunity:

The Role:
- As a PKI Architect, you’ll support the design, build, and implementation of complex cryptography programs within a high-security government environment.
- You'll oversee the delivery of KPI work packages, from initial design and prototyping to ensuring the system meets functional and non-functional requirements.
- Additionally, you’ll create and maintain all key documentation, such as High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and installation guides.
Essential Requirements:
- Sole British National with SC Clearance, willing to obtain DV (Developed Vetting) clearance
- Extensive experience in Cryptography and PKI solution design.
- Expertise in encryption schemes, key exchange protocols, and quantum-safe methods.
- Understanding of NIST’s post-quantum cryptography standards and migration.
- Experience with on-premise PKI solutions like Keyfactor, Microsoft PKI, and OpenSSL.
- Capability in implementing high-assurance PKI for both Microsoft and Linux systems.
- Knowledge of NIST Cryptographic Standards, IETF RFC guidelines for PKI, and creating policy documents (e.g., CPS, Key Signing Ceremonies).
- Proficiency in PowerShell and OpenSSL.
- Experience in Agile software development.
- Skills with Active Directory, secure networking, and system hardening (GPOs).
- Proficiency in scripting with open-source tools like Python.

- Base Salary: Up to £110,000 (DoE)
