Our client, a leading energy consultancy, is looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join their team. In this role, you will drive sales of compliance services and renewable technologies by generating and converting new business opportunities , including some warm leads. You will also build strong client relationships and support the sales team with accurate data and insights. Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, ensuring effective follow-up & engagement.
  • Qualify prospects and guide them through the sales cycle to secure new deals.
  • Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of potential business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and tender submissions.
  • Support the tender bidding process to maximise success rates.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to provide client insights and sales data.

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales , consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Energy industry experience is preferred (energy, engineering, or agriculture)
  • Experience of sales administration – including the production of proposals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with a confident approach.
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and driven to succeed.
