Survey / Inspection Technician ⚙️

Role Overview:

I am seeking a motivated and experienced Survey / Inspection Technician to join a Asset Integrity: Inspection Services team. This role is primarily onshore but requires offshore travel (120-150 days per year) to support project execution, including mooring integrity inspections, 3D modelling, and visual inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

Onshore:

  • Prepare, calibrate, and maintain inspection equipment.
  • Develop project documentation, procedures, and reports.
  • Perform system and sensor maintenance, calibration, and repairs.

Offshore:

  • Manage inspection projects, ensuring data quality and equipment performance.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot equipment, and analyse data.
  • Adhere to company policies with a strong focus on HSE&Q.

Requirements:

✔️ HND or Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics/Engineering Systems or relevant industry experience.

✔️ Experience in maintenance, testing, and repair of inspection systems.

✔️ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

✔️ Knowledge of data communications (serial & IP configurations) .

✔️ Offshore project experience in a survey or inspection role .
