Junior Commercial Manager – Mechanical Contractor (New Build Housing)\\n\\nDue to winning new projects and organic growth, my client is looking for a Junior Commercial Manager to oversee commercial administration of high-quality plumbing, heating, and ventilation solutions for some of the UK's top housebuilders. This would be suitable for a Quantity Surveyor who is looking to join a company that is going through a rapid growth spell – you would be joining at the early stages which will naturally lead to progression to Commercial Manager later down the line\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nAs a Junior Commercial Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the commercial operations of projects. Reporting to the Managing Director you will assist in cost management, procurement, valuations, and contract administration.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in a growing company with a strong pipeline of work.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nAssist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts\\nSupport the management of contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions\\nWork with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing\\nAssist with valuations, variations, and final accounts\\nMonitor project costs and highlight potential risks or overspends\\nLiaise with site teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth commercial operations\\nSupport in producing financial reports and documentation\\nRequirements:\\n\\nExperience in a commercial or quantity surveying role within the mechanical, plumbing, or construction sector\\nA relevant qualification such as a degree/HNC in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent\\nStrong numerical and analytical skills\\nExcellent communication and negotiation abilities\\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel\\nA proactive and detail-oriented approach \\n\\nPackage:\\n\\nSalary in the region of £40,000 which can be negotiated for the right person\\nProgression to Commercial Manager\\n8% pension\\n28 days holiday \\n\\nInterested?
