Paint Sprayer/Prepper

We are a family run commercial vehicle bodyshop, based in Somerton, near Yeovil, Somerset. We pride ourselves on producing top quality paint work, our work can range from small vans repairs, full cab swaps to respraying coaches, trailers and HGV cabs., Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer

• Mask and tape off areas that are not to be painted

• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results

• Apply paint spray guns

• Ensure proper coverage and smooth finish

• Remove masking tape and clean up work area after painting is complete

Proficiency with hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and brushes

• Experience with power tools for efficient surface preparation

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed

As a Paint Prepper, you will play a crucial role in preparing surfaces for painting and ensuring high-quality finishes. You will use your skills in using hand tools, mechanical knowledge, power tools, and ability to lift heavy objects to complete your responsibilities effectively. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential in this role.
