We are excited to offer an opportunity with a forward-thinking engineering company seeking an Experienced Machine Tool Fitter. This role suits someone who excels in high-precision environments and has a proven track record in aligning and commissioning multi-axis machines.
The Role β Machine Tool Engineer
- Assemble a variety of CNC machine tools to high standards
- Align 5-axis CNC machines to tight tolerances
- Utilise advanced tools such as Renishaw and autocollimators
- Use Dial Test Indicators (DTI)
- Perform ball screw and linear rail alignments
- Basic machine control commissioning
Shifts: Day shifts with early finish on Fridays
Minimum Skills / Experience Required β Machine Tool Fitter
- Extensive experience in machine tool fitting and commissioning
- Strong understanding of complex mechanical alignments
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Motivated team player
- Must be able to commute to LE8 area
