Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Real Estate Legal Assistant located in Manchester city centre. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for legal document preparation, administrative assistance, and supporting a partner in various tasks on a wide range of real estate transactions. The position is also open to part-time candidates.
Qualifications
- Legal Document Preparation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Background in real estate law and transactions
- Experience working in a law firm or legal environment
- Post completion experience, SDLT and registration, carrying out pre-completion searches and diary management of dates and deadlines
- Experience working with a busy caseload in a fast paced environment
- Proficient with file opening and on-boarding procedures (training to be provided)
- Comfortable liaising with and updating lenders, agents, intermediaries and clients
- Happy to help with administrative tasks, scanning, drafting letters and saving correspondence and post to iManage/ online file.
