Our client, a major player in the huge baked goods sector, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager/SNAM to lead the partnership agenda with a huge grocery account. This is an exciting opportunity to make a substantial impact on the business, leading a Β£multi-million account and driving share and category growth. Position Overview
As the Senior Business Development Manager, your priority will be fostering strong, mutually-beneficial customer relationships, developing innovative commercial solutions, and driving the top and bottom line numbers through successful execution of JBPs. This highly collaborative role requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders, working closely with brand marketing, category and supply chain teams, with full accountability for both the strategic customer agenda and the day-to-day execution of business plans.
Responsibilities
- Leading the partnership agenda for a major grocery account, identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive business success
- Developing and implementing innovative, profitable commercial solutions that drive value for the customer and business
- Developing and executing JBPs and key projects within the customer portfolio
- Achieving budgeted KPIs, including Gross Contribution, net sales value and volume targets
- Ensuring accurate business forecasting through effective demand, seasonal, and promotional planning
- Managing the customer supply chain team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to align strategies and drive results
- Analyse market trends and customer insights to inform business decisions and strategies
