Sonomatic RAIS are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced UKAS RG-2 Category 3 Inspection Engineer to join our inspection team at Shell, Mossmorran.
Skills/Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge and understanding of the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR).
- Visual Inspection for External Corrosion / CUI – formal training can be provided
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Competence in use of computer packages
- Ability to co-ordinate and prioritise work effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant national and international standards relating to oil industry equipment and processes.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR).
- Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant industry standards (API, ASME, EEMUA, BS EN)
- Sound knowledge and understanding of damage mechanisms and corrosion awareness.
Qualifications
- UKAS RG2 Category 3 minimum
- ASME Level 1 Plant inspector (preferred but not essential)
Working Hours
- 37.5
- Monday – Thursday 8am – 4:30pm, Friday 8am – 2pm
The successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK.
