Planner – Birmingham We are looking for an experienced Planner to join our client and their Construction West Team in Birmingham – focussing on high profile, technically complex projects across multiple sectors. This role is an ideal opportunity for a highly skilled Planner seeking to step up into a more senior position, progressing your career as part of a talented, diverse and supportive team! As a Planner, you are a valuable part of the business, the focus of this role is to provide effective and professional planning and programming services for pre-contract and project teams. Responsibilities as Planner: * Manage and report on project progress. Understand key performance indicators, project controls, and metrics. * Ensure full integration of design and procurement elements of programmes with construction. * Produce integrated tender programmes, logistic plans, method statements and present proposals at settlement meetings. * Review programme effectiveness of changes and advise of any delay issues, manage risk. * Participate in multiple projects, supporting live and tender projects, manage a successful completion with minimal supervision. * Guide and advise other Planners. * Provide planning support across the business through mentoring of our trainee planner.
