Coating Inspector

RINA is looking for experienced Coating Inspectors to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in Scotland.

Requested:

• Coating Inspector with insulation experience
• Valid Painting and Coating certificate: NACE, ICORR or BGAS (Level 2)
• Experience as Coating Inspector (min. 3 years); Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections;
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports;
• Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;
• Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;

Job Description:

Complete monitoring activities and inspection on a part time basis in accordance with the provided documentation and ITP for spool insulation coating:

• Spools scope: 7No. 10” Duplex Production Spools, 13No. 6” Duplex Production Spools
• Structure scope: 1No. UTA Support Frame

Location:

Peterhead, Scotland

Please note, we can only consider residents in Scotland for this position

Period:

30 days from 6/4/25 to 7/5/25 – 3 visits per week

Contract:

To Freelancer or to Inspector agencies, for ad hoc activities
