Bricklayer

• Lay bricks, blocks, and stones according to specifications and plans.

• Construct walls, arches, and other structures using masonry techniques.

• Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools and power tools.

• Mix mortar and other bonding agents to ensure proper adhesion.

• Repair existing brickwork and masonry structures as needed.

• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and welders, to complete projects efficiently.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.

• Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with building codes.

We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and bricklaying, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, stone, and other materials. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship are essential for success in this position., * Proven experience in masonry or bricklaying is essential.

• Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., trowels, chisels) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills).

• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

• Strong physical stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods.

• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.

• A background in carpentry is advantageous but not required.

• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques within the trade.
