Job Description\\n\\nWe are currently looking for a Senior / Civil Structural Engineer for one of our clients in Surrey. The Civil & Structural Engineer will be part of a larger team working on Detailed Design & FEED projects in the O&G and Hydrogen industries.\\n\\nLocation: London\\n\\nContract/Permanent: Contract, Inside IR35\\n\\nKey Duties will include:\\n\\n * Support the Lead Civil/Structural Engineer on the project.\\n\\n * Assist in the development of the Scope of Work for Plant Buildings ‘design and build’ contracts.\\n\\n * Provide hands on technical support with the development of foundations and steelwork structures concepts during the Proposal to generate the MTO Estimate.\\n\\n * Assist with the development of the Functional Execution strategy.\\n\\n * Provide hands on technical support to develop the proposal concepts further in the Basic Engineering stage and update the MTO.\\n\\n * Provide technical support during the detail design stage to review the work of Others against the Basic concepts.\\n\\n * Suggest economical ways in designing the work.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * The Senior Civil/Structural Engineer shall hold an engineering degree in Civil Engineering and preferably a chartered engineer in either the United Kingdom Institution of Civil Engineers or the Institution of Structural Engineers or equivalent recognized Institution.\\n\\n * ONSHORE O&G industrial experience (industrial buildings/structures, piperacks, concrete structures, RC foundations design).\\n\\n * Civil and Structural experience in a Process Design Industry.\\n\\n * Shall be proficient in the tasks below.\\n\\n * Foundation design both shallow and piled for a variety of structures – dynamic equipment e.g. compressors, building foundations, static equipment and piperack structures\\n\\n * The structural design of site built steelwork such as piperacks, buildings, Equipment supports.\\n\\n * Design of modular structures (piping modules, equipment skids)\\n\\n * Underground gravity drainage experience is an advantage\\n\\n * Have knowledge in the use of industry wide software package – STAAD-Pro,\\n\\n * Use of various international design standards – AISC, IBC,ASCE, Eurocodes
