Study Lead – Bioprocessing – Kent – Permanent – On-site
CSG Talent are excited to be partnered with a biopharma business looking to bring in a Study Lead – Bioprocessing. You will be the scientific subject matter expert across the biopharma R&D lifecycle, supporting the wider R&D and commercial teams.
Your responsibilities:
– Act as the technical lead across biopharma products, providing scientific direction to wider teams and scientific subject matter expertise
– Act as client point of contact for technical and project related queries
– Manage the project proposals, project plans, costing, milestones and deliver technical reports
– Support the BD & commercial teams with technical proposal writing and technical sales support
– Supporting the teams and management with the site's GMP roadmap
– Maintain broad knowledge of up-and-coming technologies & theories and ideas for improvement
– Supporting the R&D teams with laboratory planning and experimental execution
– Maintaining the high standards of laboratory practice including quality management, MHRA, FDA and other regulatory agencies
– Other R&D activities as needed by the business
To be successful in this position you will have:
– A PhD in a relevant field to Biopharma (preferred) or other advanced degree
– Deep understanding and experience across the full biopharma research and development process using microbial recombinant protein expression
– Demonstrable experience (subject matter expert) in upstream processing, downstream processing or analytical science
– Experience working in GMP environments
– Matrix leadership experience
– Meticulous and detail orientated with use of word and project planning tools
– Strong decision making abilities
