IT Sales Executive – Potters Bar

Position: IT/Technical Sales Executive

Location: Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom

Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 (open to different experience levels) + Uncapped Commission Scheme

A long-standing National IT Service Provider in Herts is currently expanding and on the lookout for a Sales Executive to join their team. You will be at the forefront of the company’s growth and new revenue plans, generating leads, booking client meetings, and closing sales opportunities whilst managing key accounts.

There is an uncapped commission structure in place which allows huge earning potential for this level of role.

You don’t need to be technical to do well in this position, however any IT knowledge or prior experience working with an IT Solutions Provider will be beneficial.

It is an exciting opportunity for a confident individual to join a company providing lots of training and support, and career development in the areas of Sales and IT. There will be an element of travel to customer sites, the majority are based locally in/around London and Herts, yet this will not be extensive.

Key Duties

  • Find and win new clients using sales tools (LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Marketing Campaigns).
  • Manage territory of existing clients to ensure retention, responding to any concerns/queries.
  • Understand business and customer needs.
  • Meet with new customers, remotely or in-person where required, to give an overview of company products and services.
  • Support ad-hoc sales initiatives.

Key Skills

  • Generating new sales leads and closing them.
  • Background in selling managed IT and consulting services highly desirable.
  • Previous experience prospecting and following up on leads to book in meetings.
  • Track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Confidence in presenting solutions and services to key C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Understanding of general IT Hardware/Software and what it’s used for.
