Job Description:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will be involved in various high-end residential and hospitality projects, contributing significantly to all project stages with a particular focus on RIBA Stages 3, 4 and 5.
The range of commissions in the UK includes masterplanning major estates, designing new residential villas and apartment buildings, and undertaking refurbishments and significant extensions of Grade I and II listed buildings in Central London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in design development and technical design.
- Coordinate with the consultant team.
- Prepare Building Regulations documentation.
- Develop tender information and construction documentation (NBS and drawings).
- Review shop drawings.
- Conduct site inspections.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- CIAT accredited qualifications with 3 years post-qualification experience and 3 years UK project experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or vectorworks
- Demonstrated experience in detailed and technical design.
- Proven track record in the delivery of tender packages and construction documentation, including drawings and specifications (NBS preferred).
- Strong coordination skills with consultant teams.
- Site experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and Approved Documents.
- Clear understanding of best practice detailing and specification of building materials, products, and workmanship.
- Experience in the residential and/or hospitality sectors .
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
