Position: Business Development Manager

We are now seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth and strengthen our position within the private healthcare sector, NHS Trusts, and related markets. This role reports directly to the Commercial Director and will play a key role in shaping our business development strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Growth Strategies: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within private healthcare organisations, NHS Trusts, and medical supplies distributors.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with existing customers, ensuring their ongoing needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to keep Meditrade UK Ltd at the forefront of the market.
  • Collaborative Sales Leadership: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to align business development activities with overall company goals.
  • Onboarding Support: Partner with sales representatives to facilitate the smooth onboarding of new customer accounts, ensuring a seamless transition and positive customer experience.
  • Tender Support: Provide market insight and knowledge to the senior leadership team in the preparation of tenders and large bid opportunities.
  • Achievement of Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales and revenue targets, contributing directly to the company's growth.

About You:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record in B2B sales. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in business development or sales, ideally within the medical devices, healthcare, or related industry.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with NHS procurement processes, private healthcare providers, and distributors.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Drive: A results-driven mindset with the ability to take initiative and work autonomously.
  • Connections: Established contacts within the healthcare sector are highly desirable.

What We Offer:

  • Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum (DoE) + Uncapped Monthly Commission
