We’re looking to add a Project Planner to our team here at Chubb, from our Blackburn HQ with a hybrid element. Key to this opportunity is experience in P6 and Microsoft Planner. This is a key role for us, with this Planner working on key infrastructure project across the UK.

Responsibilities:
Due to the varied nature and size of our projects, our Project Planner will work either with full responsibility for the projects allocated to them, or where our projects demand, due to size, complexity and/ or risk, work under the direction of the projects senior leadership as the project demands.
Due to the nature of our Project Controls philosophy that we operate across our portfolio of projects, the Planning/ Project Controls Function is expected to work very closely with the Commercial Department, ensuring that the information produced is coordinated between the two functions.
Pre Contract Administration:
- Working with the Bids/ Estimating, operational and commercial team(s) create baseline project plans from first principles
- Creation and periodic updating of appropriate programmes/ business control data to monitor and report against the overall Capacity of the business
Post Contract Administration:
- In conjunction with the project team, prepare supporting information for contractual letters to customers, subcontractors and suppliers
- Post contract liaison with Customers and their consultant Project Management, Planning and Commercial team
Project Accounting & Reporting:
- Creation of the appropriate base Project Control methodology from first principles.
- Preparation and monitoring of monthly Project Controls Dashboards, including Ghant Chart Baseline updates
Qualifications/ Experience:
Demonstrable experience in a similar role, managing the commercial outcome of projects of similar nature
Preferred qualification within relevant discipline
Working towards or has membership of relevant professional body, such as the CIOB.
