MAINFRAME TEST ENGINEER
SHEFFIELD, 2 DAYS ONSITE

Primary Skills:
- QA Testing Automation: Experience in automating quality assurance testing processes.
- REXX: Proficiency in the REXX scripting language.
- JCL: Knowledge of Job Control Language for managing batch jobs.
- z/OS: Familiarity with the z/OS operating system used on IBM mainframes.
Nice to Have:
- Ansible: Basic understanding of this automation tool.
- Batch Scheduling Software: Basic knowledge of tools like IBM Z Workload Scheduler, CA7 Workload Automation, Control-M, and ZEKE.
Responsibilities:
- Manual and Automated Testing: Writing manual test cases and developing automation scripts for each case.
- Test Plans and Procedures: Creating test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on provided requirements and specifications.
- Workflow Analysis: Analyzing workflows and recommending improvements.
- Collaboration: Working with subject matter experts, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of test cases and automation.
- Continuous Improvement: Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of the testing process to meet industry standards.
