New Contract Role – Offshore Carbon Capture Project –

  • Instrumentation Engineer
  • 22.5 hours per week (part-time)
  • 12-month contract
  • £60-70 approx. p/h -OUTSIDE IR35
  • Hybrid Role – 1-2 days in office p/w

The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join a world-leading offshore construction business, Supporting a carbon capture and storage project that is a key to the UK’s Governments target of achieving net zero emissions by 2050.

Job Overview:

You will be working for an International EPC and Installation business, specialising in the Offshore & Onshore energy sector.

Some of your duties will include:

  • The Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements
  • Prepare Instrumentation elements (tagged items and bulk material), quantities for cost and erection works estimates
  • Support Discipline Lead to define man hours and cost estimates
  • Review Client technical documentation and requirements

What do you need to succeed?

  • Degree qualified engineer with considerable experience in onshore instrumentation.
  • Prepare the technical documentation for instrumentation elements material and services requisitions and prepare the technical evaluations according to internal procedures.
  • Ensure Instrumentation 3D modelling design activities by engaging with other disciplines.
  • Participate to P and ID mechanisation and F.A.T. activities, Vendor workshop.
