AV Technician
Prospero Integrated are keen to speak to a Audio Visual Technician to join our client on an ongoing freelance basis.
- Day rate – 210.00 paid via umbrella or LTD company

Responsibilities:
- You will be required to update/ action incidents as they come in and following troubleshooting reported faults.
- Ensuring spares stock equipment is recorded correctly and that as stock is used these are replaced.
- Maintenance/ cleaning of AV/ VC Equipment throughout the building that is in service.
- Support events requiring lightweight audio/vision mixing for a variety of virtual, onsite and hybrid events utilising the Zoom Meeting platform.
- Meeting room support within a white glove environment
- Assisting the wider team in ensuring that you are competent is scheduling yourself to attend incidents across the site.
- Become competent with back end / remote troubleshooting on VC systems across the estate. i.e.- Cisco/ Microsoft Teams rooms.
- Working with teams to resolve faults found across VC Rooms / AV equipment.
- Liaising with the on-site teams across offices, to ensure good communication of updates and resolutions.
Skills Required:
- Experience with audio-visual related systems (3-5 years of AV support preferred)
- Experience with video conferencing, unified communications, and collaboration platforms
- Very good knowledge of VC systems (Logitech, Poly, Cisco, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc ) and use of AV bridges and interfaces
- Knowledge of IPTV systems
- AMX control
- Audio – Biamp Tesira server. Yamaha LS9-16 audio desk. Audio in includes Biamp ceiling mics, AKG handhelds and lapels.
- Video – projectors, NEC displays, DGX video switch
- Cisco VC codec for hybrid/virtual events connected to Zoom Meeting
- Experience in a field related to providing face-to-face client technical systems support
- Experience in a field related to providing technical systems support
- Experience with supporting internal and external client relationships
- Vendor VC system certification – e.g. Cisco, Poly
- Microsoft Teams – installation and maintenance
