We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Manager to drive significant growth in its D2C channels across the UK and Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is ambitious and energised to grow fast, committed to driving its brands via product innovation and effective communications strategies.
Position Overview
As the E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for executing quick performance wins and developing a comprehensive 3-year growth plan for all non-Amazon e-commerce channels. Your role will be crucial in driving targeted sales growth for the company's 2 key brands, aligning with the wider brand strategy. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to optimise pricing, manage promotional activities, and continuously improve website performance.
Responsibilities
- Executing quick e-commerce performance wins, achieving significant top-line growth
- Building a 3 year growth plan for all non-Amazon e-commerce channels
- Executing the e-commerce strategy and plan in line with the wider brand strategy to significantly grow D2C/TTS/IA sales in the UK and across Europe
- Building the optimum tech stack, initially utilising what is already available including Shopify, Klaviyo, Trustpilot, GA4, Reversion
- Managing all PPC and SEO activities either through agencies or directly as appropriate
- Managing the growth and health of the company’s D2C databases to maximise sales opportunities
- Managing and continuously improving the performance of all websites
- Collaborating with the Sales team to build a robust pricing strategy to ensure all channels can win across both brands
- Collaborating with the company Comms Manager to ensure that the media strategy and comms plan delivers on both the long term brand building objectives, and short term sales performance objectives
- Managing the promotional pricing of the brand on all e-com channels excluding Amazon to ensure D2C channels are not price makers
Skills & Experience Checklist
- A minimum of 5 years proven experience driving FMCG or consumer brands across key e-commerce channels
- Proven ability to work creatively with a limited budget, stretching it creatively to maximise impact
- Exceptional influencing skills and capability to drive change in a fast-paced and dynamic culture
- Significant experience driving step change performance in D2C/TTS/IA channels in both the UK and Europe
- A real drive for results – prepared to get stuck in to drive performance, making smart decisions based on a balance of data, experience and gut feel
- Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise effectively and manage multiple projects concurrently
- Test, learn and scale – be comfortable with failure, manage the risk, take the learnings and move on
- Passion for nutrition and sport – be involved in any type of sport/fitness and be interested in what you eat and how it can benefit your performance.
- Analysis and judgement – able to get into the detail, understand what’s going on and be able to decide on the best course of action to achieve an outcome
- Able to build strong relationships both internally and externally – inspire and influence those around you with great communication skills.
